Teacher Story: Helping Kids Speak Confidently
The first lessons
Many young learners at Englishehe start out shy, often replying with just “yes/no” or staying silent. Parents often worry: “Does my child understand? Will they ever speak?”
The challenge of teaching kids
For kids, the hardest part is not knowledge, but overcoming shyness to open their mouths. If lessons are dry, children quickly lose interest.
My approach
I use games, visuals, and simple questions so kids feel that speaking English is as natural as playing. When a child says even a single word, I always encourage them so they feel happy and want to say more.
Moments of confidence
Over time, I see clear changes: children who once stayed silent begin to respond willingly, even adding short details in English. Hearing laughter mixed with simple English sentences, I know they are becoming more confident with the language.
My message
The most important factor in helping kids speak confidently is a fun, encouraging environment. Every simple English word they say is a big step, and that confidence will stay with them throughout their learning journey.
